Collection: Erika Knight Wild Wool

With a Fine Art background & successful career in the fashion industry, British knitwear designer, Erika Knight, has delighted fiber artists around the world with her approachable patterns.  A natural extension of her passion for knitting & crochet, Erika Knight yarns are both modern & steeped in tradition.

A beautiful sheen & soft halo will grace projects knit or crocheted in Wild Wool.  Incredibly unique, the single-ply, worsted weight yarn is a blend of Corriedale wool & viscose derived from nettle!

The yarn has a slight heritage hand; but produces a quite soft fabric.  The nettle viscose in the yarn takes the dye differently, resulting in a heathered look that gives stitches incredible dimension.  Cables, ribbing & textured stitches look gorgeous in this yarn.

Primarily spun with Corriedale wool, the yarn reflects the qualities of the breed, bringing strength, bounce & warmth to projects.  Ideal for cold weather knits such as hats, cowls, scarves, poncho & sweaters, Wild Wool is a nice alternative to the traditional, 100% wools in your shop.
