Origins are available to purchase in small, single bag quantities with no large mill minimum order quantities. The yarn is perfect for your own hand-dyed store brand, customer dyeing workshops or selling to customers for home dyeing.
Sourced & spun in Yorkshire, England, Origin No. 009 is a worsted/ Aran weight yarn spun with 100% undyed Corriedale wool.
Lightweight, yet cozy, the 4-ply yarn delivers a soft, bouncy hand with a gentle wool halo. The yarn possesses beautiful stitch definition for stranded colorwork, textured stitches & cables.
Corriedale wool results in a “smooshy” yarn with superior memory & elasticity. It is excellent for stranded colorwork & also recommended for new knitters due to the ease of working with the yarn. Corriedale has a beautiful bloom to even out stitches after blocking.
The natural bright, light cream/ white is sought after for dyeing, as the base color results in bright, even tones.
This lofty yarn is wonderful for sweaters, cardigans, throws, pillows & cold weather accessories such as mittens, hats, cowls & scarves.
